WatchGuard's products; including software and documentation, are subject to export controls administered by the United States Department of Commerce (Bureau of Industry and Security).

The export or re-export of products may require prior written authorization from the U.S. Government in order to comply with applicable international, U.S., and local laws.

WatchGuard product is currently prohibited for export or re-export, either directly or indirectly, to Cuba, North Korea, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Syria and Sudan, without prior written authorization from the U.S. Department of Commerce (Bureau of Industry and Security).

In addition, WatchGuard product is prohibited for export or re-export, directly or indirectly, to any person or entity on the U.S. Department of Commerce Denied Persons, Entities and Unverified Lists, the U.S. Department of State's Debarred List, or on the U.S. Department of Treasury's lists of Specially Designated Nationals, as revised from time to time.

An export license from the U.S. Department of Commerce (Bureau of Industry and Security) may also be required in order to export or re-export WatchGuard products to government and military end-users in foreign countries.
